My day started at Rlabs on the 15'th Febraury 2012 registering for the graphic design course. The reason why I signed up for the course was for upgrading my computer knowledge. The first evening was very interesting, because there were different people from different backgrounds. There were young people aswell elderly people eager to learn about computer skills. Rlabs is situated in Tarentaal Road Athlone, and I travel by car from Plumstead.
The classes is quite big and there is alot of students.We attended the computer courses during the evenings.This community project is about uplifting the community into computer knowledge aswell as own business. This course will allow me to obtain a job in the market place aswell as a diploma.
We graduate at the end of the year and we have at least two semesters. The students must look for jobs by themselves.
For a long time I was hoping and looking for a career in computers. It happend at the right time at the right place. With this diploma I will at leat obtain a career in filing,data capturing as well. For twelve long years I was a driver salesman by profession from code eight to code ten.There was the abilty for promotion and to study futher part time.I'm also glad that the driving career is finally over.With this new career it opens up knew oppurtunities and adventures aswell as bigger roles and responsibilities.
