My journey into the world of food and writing

Its been a crazy, hectic (in a good way) two and a half years of my life when I achieved my life-long dream to write and self-publish my very own recipe book which I titled, 'wholesome eats'. The groundwork has been done (mission accomplished!) and now comes the hard work...to self-market. So why 'wholesome' and not 'healthy'? wholesome makes me think of fruits and vegetables; all-natural foods that surround us in abundance, that have amazing healing properties.  'Healthy' is so commercialized! Why should we give up eating certain foods? All natural foods have their own amazing healing properties.  The key to being 'healthy' is HOW MUCH we eat, WHEN we eat and HOW we eat. If we follow this 'wholistic 'principle, we are eating 'wholesomely'. How much means eat in moderation, when means breakfast, lunch and supper (6-hourly intervals) and how we eat is the combination of blessing your food with prayer and balancing the taste properties and amounts of food you eat. So join me on this wholesome journey.  Tell me which amazing natural foods make you tick. Ginger makes me tick! Why? because it is a wonderful aid for digestion and biliousness. What types of recipes are required in this day and age? We have a myriad of high tech kitchen tools at our finger tips. The possibilities are vast.
