Facebook has its pros and cons like most social media tools.
It's an open book about individuals therefore not much privacy can be adhered to. Your "face" says it all - thus the word "face" and "book". On the other hand, Facebook can serve as a great advertising tool to gain exposure for businesses, brands, products etc. A great way to stay in touch or touch base with friends you're not able to meet up with regularly and internationally. My biggest gripe is having to post my photograph on Facebook for easy identification but I guess that's how potential and known friends can connect.
I know there are privacy tabs on certain information but once your profile and pic is on Facebook, you're googled with ease and oggled to displease and that ain't funny.
I have mixed feelings about Facebook and yet...I am drawn in to its possibilities.
Why should there be so many other social media tools. This just serves to confuse people. Why can't we keep it simple and just have ONE - so let it be FACEBOOK then!!!
