Community; Bringing back the groove

Community.Everyone talks about the 'community'.I'm supposed to suggest ways of tackling issues in the 'community'. That word used to describe a defined group of people in an area. Something like district 6 used to be. There were many other places like that all over. They all had things in common: they all knew each other. They laughed together, cried together, walked together, talked  together. Went to each other's baptisms, funerals, fund raisers.They were tight. Looked out for one another. Camaraderie. Mix. Share. Respect. These are some things we lost in the rush to survive. So; if you're worried about crime in your area, for example, mix with others who feel the same. Be prepared to share any useful ideas with them. And finally, respect their feelings and ideas about the matter. It's all about building (community) bridges people.Aluta continua! Amen.
