First job interview in thirty years

My name is Venise  Smith and I would like to give you a glimpse of my interview I had today

I worked at Nedbank for thirty years and stopped working last year October because I felt that there was more to life than banking. I desperately wanted to follow my heart.
Everyone was disappointed and felt that that I should continue to work, but I wanted none of that.
I told them that I would still help by doing temporary assignments should they need me.
Well they called me and told me to come for an interview because someone was gong on maternity leave..... well I must tell you that it was my first interview in thirty years. it was such a shock to my system...I told myself: girl, you can do this....just be yourself. I  was confident, spontaneous and up for the challenge. Two managers interviewed me...they had everything on paper....all the questions...I had no idea what it would all entail.....I answered each question and described each scenario they gave me.
I must tell you that I quite enjoyed the interview  and needless to say they were quite happy with the outcome.

The most important lesson I learnt out of this experience is that you just need to believe in your self otherwise no one else will
