An amazing co-incidence

On Saturday night at 23:00 myself and Stephanie took my husband to work in Strandfontein. On our way back while driving we saw a stray maltese poodles running on the side of the payment.
It was windy and cold and it was very clear to us that this doggy was unable to see properly. As he was running he went against the payment and then almost fell into a drain.  Lucky the drain had a lid on with thin openings.  Stef stopped the car and said that we need to get this doggy into the car.  Oh my word I thought, this dirty dog.  She picked up the dog and put him onto her lap and started rubbing him.  Lucky it was clean . Immediately the doggy felt relaxed and secured.  We took the dog to the SPCA and phoned the call centre asking if we can book this stray dog in.  They called back and said that a gentle man will open the gate shortly.  When the gentle man came to the gate he looked very familiar and stef also recognised him.  As we went inside we introduced each other and discovered that the gentleman was a underdeacon in our church.  He booked the doggy in and chatted a while and left.
Stef felt relieved and after an exhausting day we went home and to bed. The next day which was Sunday Stef said that she wondered how this doggy was doing and on Monday morning she received a phone call from a lady thanking her dearly for finding her beloved dog.  He was very old and blind, but the wonderful part of this was that this lady also belongs to the same church and she was the sister in law of the gentle man (underdeacon) that booked the doggy in.
